Miami is a beach-side city and is a unique metropolis known for its warm weather and unique Cuban and Latino heritage. The city offers Florida’s most connected public transport system and a car is not required to get around to most areas. The city itself is generally considered safe, with only certain neighborhoods outside of the main tourist areas (such as Overton) that should be avoided.
