Vancouver is serviced by the Vancouver International Airport, located just south of the city. It is the second busiest airport in Canada and services a wide range of direct flights from Asia and Europe. From the airport, the SkyTrain offers direct access to the downtown area in only 25 minutes. Taxi and limousines are also available. Vancouver is considered a very safe city, thought like all large cities, basic precautions should be taken. Visitors not familiar with the city and its neighborhoods should carry a map and review any areas to avoid with their hotel concierge.
