Vancouver accommodation is generally considered expensive when compared to other cities in Canada and North America at large. Many upscale and luxury hotels are on offer, however some mid-range options also exist within reasonable distance from the center of the city. Most of the cities accommodation options exist in the City Center, with boutique hotels available outside of the central business district. For those that don’t mind commuting, more budget-friendly options are available outside of the city including in New Westminster, Burnaby and North Vancouver.
